Payment of Tuition and Fees

Full Payment
Tuition is due at the beginning of each course. If full payment is not received through a combination of direct payments, activated monthly payment plans, loans, scholarships, or grants, a finance charge of 1 percent will be assessed each month on any charges over 30 days old. Statements of student accounts are printed each month and mailed to the student’s permanent address in the database.

Monthly Payment Plan
Bethel University offers a monthly payment plan provided by Sallie Mae, which enables interest-free monthly installment payments. Participation is on a semester basis. There is a semester enrollment fee. Information regarding the details of this payment plan option is available at www.tuitionpayenroll.com.

Veteran Administration (VA) Educational Benefits
To determine if you qualify for VA benefits, call toll free 1.888.442.4551. If you qualify for VA benefits and intend to use them, you must contact the certifying official at Bethel University, at 651.635.8696 or 800.255.8706, ext. 8696. You must report any change in your registration or withdrawal to the certifying official at Bethel. You are responsible for sending in your course schedule, tuition and fee statement and grades to the VA. After the VA has received your certification, an authorization for benefits is sent to Bethel. The Business Office will submit an invoice for payment to the VA. Receipt of payment will take approximately 6-8 weeks. If you withdraw from a course that was paid by the VA, tuition will be refunded in accordance with accepted government regulations.
