Program is for in-career nurses

The B.S. in Nursing adds relevant knowledge to the basic preparation of nurses, respecting their previous education and experience. It continues building and refining professional thinking and practice. The application of Christian faith is integrated with course work and clinical experience.

The program fits a working adult's priorities without sacrificing the learning experience. It has experienced a 97% completion rate since its inception. The faculty are not only committed to teaching nursing, but to seeing their students experience success.

Complete your Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a major in Nursing

  • 36 semester credits in the Nursing major
  • Register once for the entire program
  • Attend class with a supportive group of adults who progress through the entire program together
  • Be evaluated primarily on written assignments, class discussions, projects, and small group participation

Combined Option: Earn both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing

If you are an R.N. with a bachelor's degree in another major, a combined option offers both a B.S. in nursing degree and an M.A. degree in nursing. This program can be completed in 3 years for the Nursing Education Concentration and in 4 years of part-time study for the Nursing and Healthcare Leadership Concentration. Learners take three courses in the College of Adult & Professional Studies' nursing degree completion program and after meeting all undergraduate degree requirements, begin the master's course sequence. Both degrees are awarded after completing requirements for both programs.
