The Healthcare Leadership degree program has been designed for individuals in a healthcare field who need to develop more effective skills for leadership. Learn organizational and management principles along with the interpersonal, technological, financial, and legal skills specific to healthcare. This program does not fulfill requirements to earn a BSN or graduate degree in nursing.

These programs are uniquely structured in a cohort model, one of its kind in Minnesota. The schedule works well for the working adult. Meet just one evening a week so you can continue to work while earning your degree.

In this program, you will:

Demonstrate leadership skills specific to a rapidly changing health care industry.
Identify and integrate current trends and innovations within the health care industry.
Analyze decision-making strategies
Demonstrate essential technical writing skills
Examine and integrate the principles of teamwork, group dynamics, and interdepartmental relationships
Utilize the principles of financial accounting and budgeting
Demonstrate effective communication methods
