Designed for In-Career Adults
  • Be part of a cohort—a supportive group of adults who progress through the entire program together.
  • Meet one evening a week.
  • Take one course at a time.
  • Complete the course work in approximately 24 months.
  • Register once for the entire major.

Program Emphases
  • Theoretical principles applicable to the communication discipline
  • Oral, written, and listening skills necessary to function as a competent communicator
  • Higher level thinking processes applied by evaluating evidence, analyzing communication texts (public, media, technological texts), and applying information to life decisions
  • Examination of ethical dilemmas in light of a Christian worldview
  • Equitable treatment of all people which is related to empathic, responsible communication based in Christian principles
  • Preparation for work and/or graduate study
