The General Studies program at Bethel University helps students with little or no college credit earn an A.A. degree, or prepare for entering a B.A. degree completion program.

Have you been looking for a way to get a college education, but your busy schedule makes it impossible?

Complete your first two years of college

Complete your first two years of college in the General Studies program and you will finish the general education requirements (48 credits). Then begin working toward your Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees. 

Complete your Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree

Schedule designed for busy adults

  • Take only one course at a time (most 3-credit courses last 5-6 weeks)
  • Attend class only one time each week for 4 hours
  • Some sessions in each course may be online.
  • Complete the course work in approximately 24 months
  • Meet on Bethel's campus (near the intersection of 35W and 694) or at convenient Metro locations
  • Park for free
