Apply for Aid

You can apply for financial aid while you’re applying for admission to the College of Adult & Professional Studies, but your aid eligibility won’t be determined until after you’re accepted into your program.

  1. Fill out the Bethel Financial Aid Application.

    Incoming students pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree:

    You may also download the paper version and mail it to our office, however, paper applications require an additional 2 weeks to process.

  2. Fill out your FAFSA.

    Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Be sure to include Bethel University (code #002338) on the list of schools to receive your FAFSA information.

    We recommend that you use the IRS Data Retrieval process when completing your FAFSA to minimize the chance that your application is selected for verification. The IRS Data Retrieval process as available approximately 2 weeks after you electronically submit your federal income tax return (6-8 weeks after a paper federal tax return).

    Students selected for verification will be asked to submit a Verification Worksheet, and possibly a Tax Return Transcript of their (and their spouse's) prior-year federal tax return.
