Associate's Degrees

Looking to start or continue your college education? An associate's degree gives students with few or no college credits the opportunity to earn a 2-year college degree or prepare for a bachelor’s program.

Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree consists of 45 credits in the General Education program and 15 elective credits (60 credits total). The A.A. provides students with the foundations of a liberal arts education without orientation to a particular major—setting them up to continue on in a range of studies. You'll focus on building skills in writing, reading, researching, communication, and more. All skills can be applied directly to the workplace or prepare you to continue on to a 4-year degree.

Associate of Science

The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree consists of 30 credits of courses in our General Education program plus 30 credits of major courses (60 credits total). Our A.S. major in Business and Leadership can be taken as a stand-alone program to advance your career, or you can use the degree to prepare for a bachelor's degree program. You also have the option of designing your own program by choosing selected courses within a single academic discipline. A student success advisor can help you create a program that applies to your educational and career goals.
